As a woman, finding a mechanic that doesn't talk down to me is important. Finding a mechanic that I can trust is key. The desk guy, Jason didn't listen. He offered excuses for problems that were non-sensical. " It's a Focus" is not an answer to a question. I went in with a burnt smell coming from the air vents. After a diagnosis, and $730 later, the exact same smell was there. ( In fairness, I did receive other repairs ). I was told that the smell was from mold. I am 53, I worked in a dealership! I know what mold/ mildew smell like. The repairs ran on the High End of the average costs for same repairs that I had done. Also, when I got home, one repair wasn't done that I had specifically asked for, although he said that it was. My tires were also 15 lbs. too light. That's basic stuff, which made me wonder what else was 'off'. I asked for answers such as, " Why are my brakes still feeling soft if they are ok?". His response to more than one question was, " It's a Ford Focus"... That's not an answer. I was talked down to. As a female, I was insulted. I gave them 2 stars simply because my car does still run. I don't trust that the repairs I paid for were actually the ones that I needed. Actually, it wasn't! The " burnt smell" still existed. I took it to a competitor and got the "smell" fixed and for 1/2 the cost they had quoted. Not 5 star work in my opinion. High cost, unprofessional experience. I also asked for the owner to call me. Nothing. Oh well, live and learn! I would definitely get a few quotes from other shops. You may save a lot of money and headache. I went down the road to repair " the smell", which I will also review. Update: While looking through my Google Guide, I noticed that an employee of this shop did a personal review. Yep, it was a '5 Star' review. Shop around!!!
